The Green Team will be featuring upcycled and eco-friendly items at the Christmas Fair again this year. Come check out aprons made from grain sacks, reusable cups, utensils, and food storage containers made from plastic milk jugs, reusable sandwich and snack bags in a variety of colors and shapes, eco friendly art supplies for kids, and other fun, clever, and useful things for your Christmas list. Spot your favorite plastic toys on Katie Campbell’s “I Spy” wreaths. And feel good knowing you’re buying products that are good for you and good for the planet!
Are you a crafter? If you would like to donate any upcycled items that you’ve refashioned from something else, such as crafts, clothing accessories, household items, or children’s toys, we’ll gladly add them to our table. Thanks in advance!
Other Green Notables at the Christmas Fair:
• reused plastic lettuce containers will replace paper plates and Ziploc bags at the baking table (we’re still collecting these under the harvest table in the connector)
• reusable gift bags at the handmade items table
• nutritious, delicious, and local fermented foods at Grandma’s Pantry
