January 30 at 7:00 pm – Eat Shrimp and Learn about Fishing in Maine
Everyone is invited to join the Green Team on Monday, January 30, when a fishing family from Harpswell will talk with us about what it is like to make a living fishing in Maine. Chef David Gooch will prepare and serve shrimp appetizers to spice up the evening. Our speaker will be Monique Coombs of Lobsters on the Fly, along with her husband if he is not out shrimping. The group will gather between the kitchen and the library at 7 p.m. at the Congregational Church in Cumberland Center. Everyone is invited to join us. For more info, e-mail Lalla Carothers at lcaro@maine.rr.com or Susan Gilpin at susanogilpin@gmail.com, or Google Lobsters on the Fly.
